The prerequisite, then the detail

This general charter is the minimum prerequisite. For each family of products, we have defined a specific charter.

Sought after

  • Peasant seeds only
  • Saving their own seed and raising their own seedlings
  • Organic farming
  • Care for biodiversity (hedges, fruit and nectar-bearing trees, ponds, beehives)
  • 3 hectares in production maximum
  • Limited irrigation
  • Mixed production

Excluded

  • F1 hybrids
  • Plant protection products
  • Soil amendments
  • Heated greenhouses
  • Chemical fertiliser
  • Sulphur / copper (or minimal dose)

Sought after

  • Natural pasture
  • Care for the biodiversity of the flora
  • Long rotation practices
  • Extensive rearing
  • Self-sufficiency (fodder, seed, energy...)
  • Mixed production
  • Slaughterhouse and transport respectful of animal welfare
  • Certification linked to peasant and organic farming

Sought after

  • Herd of 40 mother cows maximum
  • Hardy cattle breed suited to its environment
  • Systematic grazing whenever the weather allows
  • Grass- and hay-fed

  • Wrapped silage (>10% of fodder)
